Transfer problem

I have been tranfering most of my Digimon and general anime music to my personal laptop. I have been using my flash drive to do so for the last couple hours and it has been going generally smoothly until I ran into a problem. When I open my "removable disk," a small window pops open with this message: ( Image under cut )

When I do decide to format it, a message follows which say that "The disk is write protected" and I can't stil access it as a result. This is frustrating, as I started transfering a bulk of my Digimon music onto this music and a search for the download of this bulk leads to dead links. Fortunately, a copy of said bulk's still on the other computer, but I want it to be on my personal computer and having it be blocked frustrates me!

I'll see if I can ask my dad about the problem, I'll try to wile away the time with listening to what music I did get on here.
