It's time for XTREME PROGRESSIVISM!!!

This article needs to be read. It precisely explains why progressives need to be as extreme as the tea party, even more extreme. Become endlessly demanding of your democratic politicians, challenge them with even more liberal candidates if they're unsatisfactory. It might not work immediately but keep doing it and racheting up the pressure.
In addition, learn about the new economic realities, follow very liberal/socaialist blogs/news, start very progressive/socialist blogs/newspapers.Talk to ordinary folks, even those on the opposite of the political spectrum, those of the disenchanted and alienated.
It would take forever for this to happen, but be patient as hell and persuade everyone to be patient as hell. Deconstructing the corporate interests and conservatives is the goal of everyone, including each and every reader of this entry.
