I voted and NaNoWriMo

I just voted and put the sticker on the laptop back (It's becoming tradition. Hopefully the laptop will last long).
My district in CT voted at a local elementary school in the gym. We showed our IDs to a pair of ladies, who looked for us by street. Then we went to another table for the voter sheets, where a girl explained how the parties were on the vertical end and the positions voted on were horizontal. So we each went to those desks with three wally things and filled the circle of each preferred candidate. I voted mostly democratic, except for one position where a Republican was running unopposed.
Then I went to a machine where the voter sheet was put into a machine and the number indicated over 1300 people had put it in the machine. Then I got a "I voted" sticker (Which was different than the previous two ones) and then waited for everyone else. My younger brother took his time, since this was his first time.
Good news! The senator I voted for was elected, but CT now won the race Tom Foley for governor. My mother told me he's alright, so fingers crossed.
For NaNoWriMo, I got to 3,354. I've got to the second chapter sooner than expected, for I always thought it averaged around 10 - 20 pages. I guess I'll have to look closer to the Sorcerer's Stone in revision. The goal for the next day is 5,001.
