It's been a while! - Education Edition

So, it appears that I'm incapable of updating a journal even somewhat regulary. So, once again, I'll try to rectify that in three part post
Recap: I have graduated high school with good marks and had been accepted as a part time student at a nearby university. My first class was a summer art class and that I was able to pass reasonably. It was a bit difficult, as the teacher sometimes forgot things and changed his mind at a whim. I prefer a bit more structure in my life, which is probably why I'm passing my math class with flying colors. Then again, I seemed to always have an aptitude for that subject, even though it isn't where my interest lay. I also had a class where we talk about the individual and the community. Basically, it's about how we need to take as wide variety of subjects as possible; that we needed to be active in the community and civil/government issues; and about how much our generation was too detached, uncurious, and other negative qualities about Generation Me. The class has been mildly interesting and the essays are a bit easier than usual - I just need to say my opinion about a topic - but my cynical side fears that all the critique would further defranchise my classmates from doing anything.
At any rate, the semester's coming to a close soon, which means exams. Luckily, I only have one for math and that is my good subject. For the other class, I need to write a three to five page paper about the Individual and the Community. If I manage it well, then I can pass and have the rest of December off. Yes! When I get back, I'll be taking Pschology and English. The former could be use for literature analysis and I hope none of the professors are the type that believe that *insert story I like here* is crap and that it isn't worthy of analysis.
Next time, I shall be talking about my current new story interests and my thoughts on them. Untill then, see ya!I just hope that another year doesn't pass between those posts!
