On the Home Stretch in One Front
Jul. 31st, 2013 04:45 pmFinished my summer class last month and in the middle of a two month break. I must say, I enjoy having more time to write, whether on fanfic or original fic. Speaking of the former, I'm on the last chapter of Pieces of the Five. Once I get done, I'll put it aside for Past Wild Endurance. I'm enjoying Past WIld Endurance much more thoroughly, so it would probably be a while. I'm just finishing Pieces of the Five on fumes at this point. I hope I could salvage something out of it or I would have gotten nothing except learning not to write long fics.
I don't know if I should start posting Past Wild Endurance a third of the way in around 9 or 10 chapters in, or just wait until I'm finished. I just started the second arc and have been rewriting all but the last of the arc's chapter more than once. I recently looked back at my chapters and am enjoying what I got out of it. I'll probably lean toward the latter but who knows.
As for movies, I saw Monster University and was going to see Pacific Rim today but the person taking my abruptly got very sick and I would hopefully see the film next week. I've been checking my local theater's schedule repeatedly and films that aren't even doing well like The Lone Ranger (Justifiably) are still playing. The film will probably be still filming but with said person's life issues, who knows. We will be seeing Dreamworks's Turbo and Disneytoon's Planes. A week or two before, I went through the list of films that looked vaguely interesting but I might just look at a few of them. It's mostly animation and sci-fi/fantasy stuff I'm interested in.
Will probably be liveblogging from Tumblr the beginning of Digimon later this week beginning with the first movie and the rest of the many series next week. Pretty Cure might follow when I start. Hopefully, I would be able to cope with it when school starts in late August.
