Lucemon...a communist?
Jun. 5th, 2007 07:26 pmI took the SATs Saturday and I think I did okay. I was in a detached mood then and because of that, I rarely had any trouble when confronting problems that I didn't understand.
Let's see, um...after sitting through Eastern Civilization class, analysing communism and its impact on China and Russia, I realized that it bore a striking resemblence to the actions of Digimon Frontier's final enemy, Lucemon. Like such:
Lucemon: I'll destroy all those who don't take in my beliefs of paradise. Those of the next generation will be groomed to my philosophies and I will monitor every move they make. Peace will soon reign if they cooperate and this will resolve in the establishment of paradise.
Attempts at Communism (Like in China): We shall silence those who don't take in our beliefs of communism. Those of the next generation will be groomed to our philosophies and we will monitor every move they make. Peace will soon reign if they cooperate and this will resolve in the dissolution of the state.
Interesting...
I wrote a much longer post of the above, but the main circuit tripped and our power shut down. I got the longer post back, but I thought it was best to keep it simple and deleted it.
When will the flood of Digimon Savers fics show up? Remind me when it happens.
Note to self: stop putting off that A Tale of Two Cities essay and finish it and get it over with already!
