Back...and bored.
Jul. 18th, 2007 09:19 pmI haven't posted in a while. It was either because there was nothing of interest to post or I just didn't feel like posting. Anyway, lets fix that.
I got good grades from my finals (Though I'm not taking a course like Eastern Civilization anytime soon. As interesting as it was, the essays made me stress and I am not very good with answering deep questions without the information in front of me.), though I just gave it a passing glance. I am one who prefers quietly and briefly celebrating my accomplishments before moving on. I also recieved good scores for my SATS and, through some complications, we had to pay to send the scores to the selected colleges. I visited one recently, but I let my mother and our family friend examine it. I am usually less reactive to things than everyone else and the family friend - whose nice and generous and I use to like him when I was younger - got on my nerves. This is probably why I am perfectly alright with all the characters I watch: there is a television screen between us and thus I do not have to deal with them personally, otherwise I would like very few of them.
Having finished reading a fanfic for the umpteenth time, I'm currently bored with what to do. I am writing a Digimon Adventure 02 fic where Jun is catching hints that someone else besides her family is living in the Motomiya household and she wants to discover who it is. It would take place after Demon is banished and the day following where the Chosen start stalking the Dark Seed Children. I only somewhat plotted it and I wasn't very specific when I should at certain points, so I'm writing and rewriting the sections I've already done to make it flow more smoothly. If anyone knows effective plotting techniques, than please drop a note on this entry.
For anyone in the Digimon fandom: are any of you interested in a Friendship challenge. I already seen Romance ones for Yu-Gi-Oh and Digimon, so with the success of those (Though the former seems to be on the verge of extinction and the other one seemed to have died.), I wondered if anyone would be interested in this. Friendship stories are slightly more easier to write than romance stories, so...
If it was to be started, it would be only Adventure-verse for the time being. Since the twelve main Chosen can produce around 66 combinations alone, I think we could manage for a while. Though it won't be them exclusively. The Digimon Partners would be involved and other important side characters would have a chance too. After all, I won't shove them to the corner like everyone else.
So that's all for now!
