Writing slowness

I really need to rewrite Pieces of the Five when I'm finished with the first draft. The 2 pages a day routine has its strengths and weaknesses, and the weaknesses are that I just want to finish the requirement before going elsewhere. That means lots of dialogue and stretched out scenes because I didn't plot the chapters with enough details. Not to mention I barely did more than cursory research before writing about the Chosen from a country and rewriting might change the plot in a negative manner. Hopefully this would be changed in a rewrite that won't take another two years.
I keep saying this, but Trinity of Loss and Brother of Brothers, among others, have been finished but haven't been revised and released yet. My mom does the editing and she's constantly busy, so yeah. Also am replotting my original fic with the 18 line format in mind, one chapter a day because class has started and it's tough enough to fit my usual schedule since I bring my laptop to school and some of the shows I watch are on another drive.
Hopefully things would pick up as I get used to the new routine.
