I don't pay attention to my brothers' business but the thought of having to pretend to care for someone and the inevitable drama that would come out when it's learned that a set of parents have continued it on for many, many years when that someone else could have had a more honest relationship with another person...
My mom calls it sacrificing to bring that someone else happiness. But is maintaining a false friendship true happiness, no matter if it only comes up a few timers per year?
