In order to keep track of my updates
Jun. 30th, 2014 08:26 amStory Update 6/7: From now on, I hope to update my progress on fanfics on a weekly basis on Saturday or Sunday. Starting 2015, I'm planning to post a story at least once a month but for now, I'm concentrating on the Priority Stories.
Past Wild Endurance is going well, though there will be severe revisions of several chapters, like how the events of the 1st 2 chapters go. They're likely to be combined into one. Let's just say there'll be less trauma and more ominous warnings. ;)
I'm starting chapter 6 of the 1st Heroes Cross story. I struggled with the 5th chapter, even going so far as to forget a major character beyond the 8th page. Need to fix that. But with the 6th chapter, I hope to get the major crossover interaction settled.
Sorry I didn't post the stories which are basically finished. My mom is my editor but she has gotten more busy by the year and my stories tend to be long, so...yeah. Hopefully, I could get some time from her or risk being my own editor so they could be posted. I'm aiming for Trinity of Loss to be among the first to go up.

6/30: Welp, already broke my word on updating at a weekly basis. Maybe I should shift this to a monthly update, like I do on my dreamwidth/livejournal. I'll often barley make once a month updates on my writing anyway and I could post the past ones there if you're interested.
Past Wild Endurance: Wrote a long a flashback segment for chapter 21. I thought I could cut it down but aside from placing one character's entrance near the end, I can't see much that wouldn't be vital to showing their development. I'm kind of making up the final moments for the villain as I go along, as I was rather vague in my plot summaries but I managed to get them into the state needed to humiliate them. Probably need to work on switching POVs better and how the death of this villain would effect the Hunter pair. Also developing tons of ideas with how to revise the first 2 chapters that might bump the story up to 26 chapters. We'll see, we'll see.
Heroes Cross - Wrath of the Return: At this rate, I'm almost completely disregarding the chapter summary I made for it. It's cringe-inducing but I found a way to get the "this sucks" feeling to go away. I put in a section for revisions and I write down what I think should be changed when I revise the story. After all, the goal is to get the ideas on the page and then later rework them into something actually decent. Might do this for my other stories. The first group I focus on is Ruki and some of the girls, and I need to think of how to show them bonding while they strategize taking down their enemy. I have an annoying tendency to devolve to nattering so I could get the two pages per day requirement done. I love getting to the character interaction but I can't be too off topic to the plot.
